ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Iman Woods’ mission is to create timeless pieces of art that can be enjoyed for generations.

Through expressive photographs she captures the essence of a person or family and creates beautiful portraits.

She has also developed an art form entitled New Media Illustrative Photography, in which portraits are illustrated on canvas by an innovative combination of both digital and traditional art mediums. 

Woods begins the artistic process with an extensive interview with you to discuss what you’re looking for.  Her process hinges on comfortable expressions which can only be attained in a comfortable setting.  After the photo session she then takes on the detailed process of digitizing the photo using her expert fine art and Photoshop skills.

At the foundation of her work lies the belief that every moment should be remembered. Each finished piece, therefore, is a tangible reminder of this moment in time and is a celebration of history.

Woods currently resides in Orlando, Fla. is available for private commissions, commercial work, and public speaking about self-esteem.
